A humane rhythm for living
Most of us are pulled between pushing ourselves forward
or trying to rest our way into the life we want.
Neither alone is enough.
Living well requires a complete rhythm, one the body already knows:
Relaxation → Clarity → Action → Satisfaction
When we move through this cycle, again and again,
rest supports movement
and movement leads somewhere that feels worth arriving.
This is the backbone of everything offered here.
Tending the Cup (free)
Tending the Cup is a free, monthly resource that supports this rhythm in everyday life.
Each month, I share a simple two-page PDF:
written in plain, grounded language
meant to be read slowly
easy to print, save, or return to throughout the month
It uses the moon as a gentle reference point to help you move at a pace that fits.
It offers a gentle way to notice when rest, release, waiting, or beginning are needed, guided by the moment, not imposed by the moon.
This helps nervous system regulation become a foundation, not a stopping point
so rest can lead to clear, meaningful action.
How it’s shared
Tending the Cup lives here on the site and is sent once a month by email.
You’re welcome to read it here anytime, or receive it in your inbox here.
Shared freely, without pressure here whenever it’s needed.
Tending the Cup offers a steady rhythm; the 11-Week Season of Tending offers a place to practice it together online.
An 11 Week Season of Tending
With Valisha Lasker & Tessa Hansen
For women at thresholds who want to practice receiving rather than pushing their way through life
This is an 11-week, online seasonal container for women who know something needs to change. Not by doing more. But by softening. Listening. Receiving.
What This Offers
Over the course of the Spring season, we will alternate between two sacred forms of tending:
• Breathwork Mastery RBM – slow, connected breathing (without force or holds) and intention to support inner healing, release old patterns and create space for clarity, intuition and real change
• Plant Spirit Medicine – meditation, tea ritual and relationship with one nourishing herb chosen for the season
The rhythm is intentional.
One gathering to clear.
One gathering to nourish.
Again and again.
Not to fix.
But to receive.
-
This is for women who:
Know something in their life or body is asking for change
Live with chronic illness, exhaustion, freeze, overwhelm or a body that requires care
Are navigating grief, transition, or quiet thresholds
Long to trust their bodies and intuition again
Want to rest without guilt
Are ready to receive care instead of always giving it
Feel called to live more honestly, now, not someday
You do not need experience with breathwork or herbalism.
You do not need to be “good” at healing.
You only need to arrive. -

Sitting at the Threshold
A gentle, original guide shaped by my work as a death doula…offering reflections and practices for being with grief, death and what truly matters in life. This is not content. It is companionship. -
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need to begin. This includes a simple guide outlining suggested supplies, tea infusion directions and how to prepare your space for our time together.
If you choose the monthly payment plan, your payments will be processed automatically each month. If you pay in full, you’ll receive the Sitting At The Threshold resource immediately as a thank-you.
You’ll also be invited into our private WhatsApp group. This is our main space for gentle connection and communication throughout the offering. It’s a quiet, supportive container for:
reminders and updates
reflections or prompts
shared nourishment and encouragement
replays of the plant spirit meditations
This isn’t a fast-moving or demanding space. You’re always welcome to participate as little or as much as feels supportive.
Communication will be steady, intentional, and spacious. You won’t be overwhelmed with messages. Everything here is designed to support your nervous system, not stimulate it.
Think of this as a soft landing. Once you arrive, you don’t have to figure anything out on your own.
This is for those who are tired of pushing their way through life and are ready to practice being held by breath, herbs, rhythm and steady companionship. It is a space to slow down enough to hear what your body already knows. To tend your own cup. To remember what truly matters.
What You May Notice By The End of Spring
A Softer Relationship with Your Body
You may begin to listen instead of push, to respond instead of override. Your body can become a place of companionship rather than something to manage or correct.
More Trust in Your Intuition
Your inner knowing may grow stronger, easier to hear and easier to follow. Decisions may feel rooted in truth rather than pressure or outside voices.
A Feeling of Being Accompanied Rather Than Alone
You may feel witnessed in your experience, held in something larger than yourself. Even in quiet moments, there is a sense of shared presence.
Less Urgency to Fix Yourself
The constant sense of being “behind” or broken may soften. You may realize you’re not a problem to solve, but a life to tend.
Greater Clarity About How You Want to Live
What truly matters may come into focus. Your choices may begin to reflect your values, rhythms and longings rather than expectation.
A Deeper Capacity to Receive
You may allow support, rest and nourishment to meet you without guilt. Receiving may become as natural and sacred as giving.
This is a practice in receiving. Receiving nourishment. Receiving guidance. Receiving rest. Receiving your own wisdom.

With a compassionate and nurturing approach, she guides others to harness the power of their breath through intention setting to live the life they want. Valisha Lasker
Herbalist + Death Doula + Breathwork Mastery RBM (Stage 3)
My work as a death doula has taught me that what matters most is rarely what we think it is. At the end of life, people do not wish they had done more. They wish they had softened sooner. Loved more fully. Lived more honestly.
This offering is shaped by this knowing.
It is a living response to what the dying teach us: to let go of what is not essential and tend to what is.
Your Questions, Answered
-
Live presence is encouraged because this work is relational and held in real time.
Plant Spirit Meditation (1hr) sessions will be recorded if you need to miss one.
Breathwork Mastery RBM (3hr) sessions will not be recorded, to protect privacy and the integrity of the container. The recordings are a supportive safety net, but the live space is where the work is felt most fully through shared breath, energy, and presence.
There are six Saturday gatherings over 11 weeks, about 12 hours total.
Think of this as a gentle rhythm of devotion rather than a packed schedule. -
No. This space is for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Everything is guided, gentle, and choice-based.

Breathwork Mastery RBM is a gentle, parasympathetic breath practice using a conscious, connected and full breath. It supports inner healing, clarity and a more conscious way of living. Rather than pushing the body into intensity, it invites you into deeper relationship with your body, your intuition and your authentic self.
Each session includes setting an intention, engaging in the breath and time for integration. This helps clarify what is ready to resolve and allows your psyche, body and breath to gently guide the way forward.
The practice emphasizes mindful awareness and sensing into the body. Through this, stored stress, trauma, conditioning and old patterns and beliefs can begin to soften and resolved on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. As energy begins to move, people often experience both relief and renewed inspiration.
It supports moving from reaction to choice.
From old patterns to clarity.
From living on autopilot to living in relationship with what is true now.Unlike more force-based breath practices that rely on breath holds, rapid pacing or pushing for catharsis, rebirthing breathwork isn’t about control or intensity. It doesn’t ask you to override your body. It asks you to listen to it.
This practice isn’t about forcing healing. It is about creating space where new understanding can arise and a more honest relationship with yourself and your life can unfold.
-
Each season we work with one nourishing herb through tea ritual and meditation. It is a way of building relationship with plants as allies and teachers, not following protocols or prescriptions. This is not a substitute for medical, mental health, or emergency care. It is a space for presence, nourishment, and relational support.
-
You are welcome here. The pacing is slow by design and all practices are invitational. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and take what serves you.
-
The group is intentionally small (6 women) so that the container can be held with care intimacy and safety.
-
If something in you softened while reading this, that is often enough to trust.
If you feel a YES
If something in your body softened while reading this, that is enough to trust.
This is an invitation to step into Spring differently.
With less striving.
With more listening.
With care that is steady and real.
You are welcome here.
