The Summer Body

Not the one you’ve been conditioned to chase

You've spent enough summers trying to fix it, shrink it, discipline it into something more acceptable.

This is something else entirely.

The Summer Body is a small in-person breathwork and plant spirit medicine series for women interested in practicing a different relationship with the body.

Listening to the body.

Learning its language.

Practicing together.

This is a practice in receiving. Receiving nourishment. Receiving guidance. Receiving rest. Receiving your own wisdom.

Four Saturdays this summer in New Jersey

Small groups of three women total …you, one other participant, and me.

Each gathering weaves together Breathwork Mastery RBM and plant spirit medicine meditation…two practices that create enough safety in the nervous system for deeper listening, clearer perception, and different choices to become possible.

Not performance. Not self-improvement.

Practice.

The kind that slowly transfers into the rest of life. Into the hard conversations. Into the places we've been overriding ourselves. Into the patterns we keep repeating even when some deeper part of us longs for something different.

The Plants

Oatstraw - June 27

A presence that can be patient. Quiet. Deeply nourishing.

Oatstraw asks nothing of you except to receive and in that receiving, something begins to soften. The nervous system. The body that has been overriding itself for too long. The mind that has been working so hard to hold everything together.

Practice softening to hear what's trying to come through.

Nettle - July 18

A presence that can be fierce. Alive.

Nettle does not soften to meet you. Nettle meets you at your edges and in that meeting, something that has been dormant begins to stir. A taste for wildness. A returning sense of self.

After being nourished, the nervous system can finally afford to be strong.

Not forced. Ignited.

Burdock Root - July 25

A presence that can be slow. Deep. Unhurried.

Burdock is not interested in the surface. This root goes down persistently, quietly, without rushing toward resolution. Burdock can meet what lives beneath the patterns, beliefs, griefs, and protections that have been shaping your life long before you were consciously aware of them.

There is no hurry here. Burdock has been waiting.

Red Clover - August 1

A presence that can be open. Generous. Flowering.

Red Clover blooms in abundance and asks you to do the same — to receive what has come through.

And in that receiving, something becomes clear.

The source of your own restoration was never far. It was in you. It has always been in you.

Red Clover can help you feel it.

The Flow

Each session begins with the plant.

For the first hour we sit with tea and enter into a slow, intentional communing with the plant spirit…not learning about the herb but meeting it. Allowing it to meet us.

This is relationship.

The plant has its own way of communicating and this hour is devoted to softening enough to enter into relationship with it.

From there we move into intention setting, a moment to name how you’d prefer life to be.

The second hour is Breathwork Mastery RBM a conscious connected breath process supporting the body into states of safety, openness, and resolution. Each inhale meets the exhale in this gentle slow body breath process.

Within the breath you are not alone. If a sensation, image, or memory arises and feels stuck or unresolved, you raise your hand. I come to you. We dialogue. We stay with it together until it finds its way through.

The session closes with a debrief…not to analyze what happened but to let it land. To speak what wants to be spoken, sit with what wants to remain unspoken, and begin carrying the experience back into ordinary life.

Your Questions, Answered

  • No. This space is for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Everything is guided, gentle, and choice-based.

  • Breathwork Mastery RBM is a gentle, parasympathetic breath practice using a conscious, connected and full breath. It supports inner healing, clarity and a more conscious way of living. Rather than pushing the body into intensity, it invites you into deeper relationship with your body, your intuition and your authentic self.

Each session includes setting an intention, engaging in the breath and time for integration. This helps clarify what is ready to resolve and allows your psyche, body and breath to gently guide the way forward.

The practice emphasizes mindful awareness and sensing into the body. Through this, stored stress, trauma, conditioning and old patterns and beliefs can begin to soften and resolved on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. As energy begins to move, people often experience both relief and renewed inspiration.

It supports moving from reaction to choice.
    From old patterns to clarity.
From living on autopilot to living in relationship with what is true now.

Unlike more force-based breath practices that rely on breath holds, rapid pacing or pushing for catharsis, rebirthing breathwork isn’t about control or intensity. It doesn’t ask you to override your body. It asks you to listen to it.

This practice isn’t about forcing healing. It is about creating space where new understanding can arise and a more honest relationship with yourself and your life can unfold.

  • Plant Spirit Meditation is a slow, relational practice of spending time with one nourishing herb over the course of the season. Through guided meditation, tea ritual and simple reflection, you build an embodied relationship with the plant spirit, not as an expert, but as a listener.

There is no pressure to get anything “right.” What matters is presence, curiosity, and allowing the connection to unfold naturally.

Many women find this becomes a lifelong practice, one they return to whenever they need grounding, nourishment, or a sense of being in conversation with something older and wiser than themselves.

  • You are welcome here. The pacing is slow by design and all practices are invitational. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and take what serves you.

  • The group is intentionally small (2 women and me) so that the container can be held with care, intimacy, and safety.

  • If something in you softened while reading this, that is often enough to trust.

  • Each session stands alone…book one or all four. Because space is limited to two participants per gathering, payment secures your place and is non-refundable.
